Shout Out: Grizzlies Smash Heat
I began my post about the Grizzlies three point shooting by referencing the party like atmosphere in FedEx Forum yesterday. While I felt it important to address the game in relation to the rest of the season, I also wanted to take time to celebrate the awesomeness of the experience.
Here is credit where credit is due from one awesome party/game at the Grind House…
Shout Out
to South Of Beale for not only a delicious lunch but catering to Griz fans. We received 20% off our tab for showing our game tickets and they also made sure we got their on time. Also, shout out to the fan in South of Beale who kept yelling “Lebron suck!” at the lone Heat fan in the bar.
Shout Out
to Tony Allen for throwing down a big tone-setting dunk instead of trying to lay it in.
Shout Out
to my man Jerryd Bayless for making a bad pass just so he could steal Ray Allen’s manhood on the best play of the season so far.

Shout Out
to Rudy Gay for playing as hard as I’ve seem him play in a long time. Oh yeah, and for schooling Lebron and Wade before cramming one in while Bosh cowered in terror.
Shout Out
to Grizzlies promotional team and camera guys. The videos in which “Grizz slaps a Heat fan” were phenomenal. However, the real genius was when someone made the call to simply show Heat fans as they left the building. The bandwagon fans in their newly purchased Heat jerseys started to trickle out when Erik Spoelstra waved the white flag. The camera just stayed on them. It was excellence.
Shout Out
to everything at the Grizzlies team store after the game. The place was swarmed and people were buying jerseys left and right. The employee standing at the front was welcoming Griz fans and trash talking Heat fans. Best of all was witnessing a kid in a Lebron James jersey patiently waiting to purchase his brand new Rudy Gay jersey.
Shout Out
to who else? None other than Mr. Ellington for making it Wayne. Whoomp! There it is.

Wow!!
The Grizz continue to prove they’re not to be taken lightly.
Nice win.
